Add Deskio AI to your Wix site

Add the Deskio AI receptionist chat widget to your Wix site in a few minutes using Wix's built-in Custom Embed feature - no coding, no app install, no approval wait. (Wix doesn't support installable plugin files the way WordPress does - a Custom Embed is the equivalent, official way to add a third-party widget to a Wix site.)

Before you start

Grab your embed code first: log in to your Deskio AI dashboard, go to Widget & Integrations, and copy the snippet shown under "Embed code" (it starts with <script src="https://deskio-ai...).

Steps

  1. Open your site in the Wix Editor.
  2. Click Add Elements (the + icon) in the left sidebar.
  3. Find Embed in the list, then choose the option for embedding custom HTML/a widget (Wix labels this Embed a Widget → Custom Embeds → Embed HTML as of this writing - the exact wording can change as Wix updates its editor).
  4. An embed box appears on your page. Click it, then choose Enter Code (or Code).
  5. Paste your Deskio AI embed code from the step above and confirm/update.
  6. Wix reserves visible space for the embed box by default - since the chat widget draws its own floating bubble and doesn't need that space, shrink the box as small as it will go and move it into a corner of the page.
  7. Open the embed element's own settings and turn on Wix's "show on all pages" option, so the widget appears site-wide instead of on just the one page you added it to.
  8. Click Publish.

Frequently Asked Questions

The embed box takes up visible space on my page - is that normal?

Yes, by default. The Deskio AI widget renders its own floating chat bubble independently of that box, so shrinking the embed element down and tucking it out of the way (e.g. the footer) is expected and doesn't affect the widget itself.

Do I need to add this to every page?

No - add the Custom Embed element once, then use the element's "show on all pages" setting so it appears across your whole site.
