Search for how to do something in Deskio AI, or browse by topic below.
Deskio AI is an AI receptionist for your business. It chats with visitors on your website (and via WhatsApp/SMS once configured), answers questions using your business info, and automatically collects leads or books appointments - all without you needing to reply to every message yourself.
Everything it collects shows up in your CRM: Leads, Live Inbox, Appointments, and Dashboard.
Setup is two steps:
Not directly from the CRM yet - that's collected once during onboarding. To update it, email us at info@zertixstudio.com with the changes and we'll update it for you.
Three today: dental clinics, insurance agencies, and real estate. Each has its own AI persona and conversation flow - a front-desk receptionist for dental, a policy advisor for insurance, a property consultant for real estate - tailored to the questions and booking details that industry actually needs.
Go to Widget & Integrations in the sidebar, copy the embed code shown there, and paste it just before the closing </body> tag on your site. The chat bubble will appear on every page that includes it.
The Leads page has a Test Live Widget button (and a floating test bubble) so you can try a real conversation without needing to open your own website.
No setup needed - the widget automatically falls back to regular HTTP requests if a live WebSocket connection can't be established, so conversations keep working either way.
Yes, the same AI can handle WhatsApp and SMS conversations tied to your business number. Since this involves connecting a phone number on our end, email info@zertixstudio.com to get it set up.
Go to Settings > Profile and use the logo uploader. Accepts PNG, JPG, or SVG, up to 2MB. Re-uploading replaces your current logo.
Add color attributes to the embed <script> tag - the Widget & Integrations page has a ready-to-copy example with all of them:
data-primary-color - bubble, header, and your customer's own chat bubblesdata-accent-color - send button and small accentsdata-bg-color - chat window backgroundNo code changes needed anywhere else - just those attributes on the tag.
Yes - data-dark-mode="auto" (the default) follows the visitor's own device/browser preference automatically. Set it to "true" or "false" to force one mode regardless of the visitor's device.
Yes - add data-assistant-name="Your Bot Name" to the embed script tag and it replaces "Deskio AI" in the chat window header.
Today it's the script tag attributes above - copy the example snippet from Widget & Integrations and edit the hex codes/name directly. A point-and-click visual customizer with live preview is planned but not built yet.
Go to Settings > Account and use the Security panel. You'll need your current password plus a new one that's at least 8 characters, includes a number, and includes both upper and lowercase letters. Very common passwords (like "password123") are rejected even if they technically meet those rules.
For security, changing your password automatically signs out any other devices you're logged in on.
Not from Settings currently - the login email field is read-only there. Email info@zertixstudio.com if you need it changed.
Your login email is what you sign in with. "Support email" (set in Settings > Profile) is a separate, optional contact address - it's just for your own reference and isn't required.
No - Google accounts don't have a Deskio password to change. Settings will show "You signed in with Google - there's no password to change" instead of the password form.
Click "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page and enter your email - we'll send a 6-digit code to your inbox (valid for 15 minutes). Enter that code along with a new password on the same page to finish. If you're still signed in on any device, you can also just change it directly from Settings > Account instead.
Yes - Settings > Account > Preferences has a timezone dropdown covering major US zones, London, Karachi, Dubai, and Kolkata, plus UTC.
Table view is a sortable list; Board view is a drag-friendly kanban layout grouped by status. Switch between them with the toggle at the top of the Leads page - both show the same leads.
Use the status chips above the list: All, New, Contacted, Booked, Lost.
Yes - the "Export CSV" button on the Leads page downloads your current list.
Click any lead to open its notes panel, where you can add free-text, timestamped notes - handy for anything the AI didn't capture automatically.
Use the search box on the Leads page - it matches by name or session/customer ID.
A real-time view of every conversation the AI is currently having with a customer, so you can watch (or join) as it happens.
Yes - open a conversation and click "Take over conversation" to reply as yourself instead of the AI. Click "Hand back to AI" when you're done to return control to it.
Status, when the customer was first seen, a lead-quality flag (High value/Standard), their booked appointment if any, and every piece of information the AI collected during the chat.
The Live Inbox item in the sidebar shows an unread badge whenever a new customer message arrives while you're on a different page.
The Appointments page lists them soonest-first, with customer name and industry. It's only shown for dental accounts today - insurance and real estate leads don't have a fixed appointment date, so they live in Leads instead.
Not yet - it's currently a read-only log of what the AI booked during a conversation. For changes, reply to the customer directly or reach out via info@zertixstudio.com.
When a customer sounds angry or frustrated, the AI flags the conversation for you instead of continuing on its own. It shows up in the Escalations table until you mark it resolved.
In the Dashboard's Uploaded Documents table - for example, insurance customers attaching an ID via the widget's attach button.
These are visible in the CRM sidebar with a lock icon and aren't usable yet:
